Why We Built This
This one's personal. We lived this problem for years before we finally built our way out of it.
We were drowning in data.
For more than 20 years, I've run social media operations at scale, overseeing thousands of accounts across dozens of brands. My co-founder Xavier spent those same years on the other side of it, building the tools and applications that kept teams like mine running. Between us we saw the whole picture, and we kept hitting the same wall: every platform hands you a mountain of data, but none of them tell you what to actually do with it.
So we'd spend hours, sometimes days, deciphering numbers just to arrive at a strategy. We weren't creating. We weren't building our brands. We were moonlighting as data analysts. And hiring consultants to do it for us was never realistic, so it always came back to us, done by hand.
We said it to each other more times than we can count: we need something that reads all this data for us and hands back a plan.
Every tool quit right when it got hard.
The tools weren't broken. They were just incomplete. They're built to report, not to advise. They'll show you every metric imaginable and then leave the hardest part, figuring out what it means and what to do next, entirely on you.
That gap shows up everywhere. You want to know what actually worked for your own brand and what flopped. You want to study a competitor's page and understand why their content is landing. You want to jump on a trend or build a promotion and know which ideas have legs before you commit. Every one of those answers is buried in data you already have. Pulling it out manually can eat days.
So we built it ourselves.
InfluenceGrid is the tool we always wished existed. You connect the handles for all your brands, and it analyzes what's working, what isn't, and why. Then it hands you a complete IQ Playbook: a strategy you can execute yourself or pass straight to your creators and brand managers.
It does the same for the competitors you're watching, turning hours of guesswork into a clear read on what's driving their results. And when you need ideas, a campaign, a promotion, a way to ride a breaking trend, it pulls from your own performance data to tell you what's likely to work, instead of leaving you to guess.
We built InfluenceGrid so teams like ours can get back to the part that matters: creating, and building their brands.
Twenty years running social media operations at scale, overseeing thousands of accounts across dozens of brands. Spent most of that time wishing the tools did more than report numbers, and finally teamed up with Xavier to build the one that did.
Twenty years building the tools and applications that keep large social teams running. InfluenceGrid is what happens when that engineering muscle gets pointed at the problem Tony had been living with for just as long.
